Traditional Chocolate Fudge

Traditional Chocolate Fudge

1 Cup sugar
1/2 Cup Milk
1/4 Cup Cocoa Powder
2 Tablespoons Butter
A few drops of vanilla essence
Chopped Pistachio                                

Keep aside a square tin greased with a little butter.
Mix the first three ingredients in a saucepan and heat on a low flame stirring continuously until it comes to a simmer. Keep simmering but do not stir again. Test if it has attained the right texture by dropping a tiny amount in cold water, if it forms a small ball which can be pressed between your fingers it is ready. Turn off the heat. Add the butter,vanilla essence and nuts.
Pour this mixture in the tin. Top with some more chopped pistachios. Once cool cut into squares.... and dig in ...

 I couldn't take photos the first time around, but I managed to capture a few pics of the second time.


They looked so pretty so I didn't wanna cut them...Packed a little box for my friends at work tomorrow.....Hope they like it :-)
